October 10, 2018 I am a Vietnam Veteran. I served with the Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV) as an Advisor in 69-70. When I came home, I worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on the front line for treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for 30 years as a Vet Center Team Leader. During that time I worked extensively with homeless Veterans and their families.

In my work, I found an ally in Barbara who was a caregiver for homeless and needy families in our community.

Barbara Droher Kline helped our efforts as a leader in our efforts assisting homeless Veterans and in her pioneering Equine Therapy for treatment of PTSD. Her legitimate concern, skills, experience and compassion for healing those in need is what we need in our Nation’s leadership.

I urge my brother and sister Veterans, and the Gold and Blue Star Families to vote for this strong, special woman. Denver F. Mills Pleasant Hill, California

October 17, 2018 Residents in 20A have the opportunity to vote for a truly outstanding candidate. Barbara Droher-Kline has a wealth of relevant professional experience and is ready to serve 20A with distinction. Because of her expertise, personal history and commitment, she is a uniquely qualified candidate. Barbara listens, asks questions and seeks to understand complex issues from the perspective of her future constituents. While worldly and politically sophisticated, she is a woman of our district. She has an extensive background in management in public and nonprofit organization and in finance. Her leadership and communication skills are clearly exceptional and much needed. Barbara’s campaign issues include, healthcare, rural broadband connectivity, rural economy/ family farms, seniors and persons with disabilities. As well, her commitment to the wellbeing of families and businesses make her a compelling choice in 20A. It is time for a change, Barbara will not only bring a refreshing perspective but also competence and efficiency. She will be a representative who brings both a deep caring for the needs of constituents along with a disciplined and carefully considered awareness of budget and real life constraints.
